N8 Research Partnership to support 4th N8 Biophysical and Biochemical Symposium

The N8 Research Partnership is proud to support the 4th N8 Biophysical and Biochemical Symposium. Following three successful symposiums, this event will focus on computational and experimental methods in biology, focusing on techniques rather than results. Hosted in The Diamond at the University of Sheffield on the 18th of January 2019, this event is now open to register.

The aim of this one-day symposium is to share research and technical expertise between the N8 universities (Newcastle, Durham, York, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool and Lancaster) in order to promote deeper collaboration and appreciation for facilities and expertise available across the biophysical and biochemical sciences. With this in mind, we are targeting talks focused on the interplay of methods and techniques employed for a variety of research areas. The programme will feature eight speakers from across the N8 universities and encompass both early career and senior researchers from the fields of primarily molecular biology and medicine. It will also host a lunch time poster session and rapid fire poster talks for junior researchers with a poster prize awarded at the end of the day.
