Child of the North is inviting N8 researchers to contribute to a new report that will build on Child of the North analysis, with a focus on young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).
Contributions from a range of colleagues working on different facets of childhood and youth relevant to NEET outcomes are welcomed.
The report, commissioned by Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire, will be framed from a West Yorkshire perspective, while drawing on national evidence and addressing issues of national significance. The report will be a short, accessible policy note built around a clear narrative and a series of concise chapters linking key research findings to practical recommendations. Each chapter will highlight pertinent research addressing a relevant issue at various developmental milestones.
