Do you support children and young people’s play?
Child of the North in partnership with the Centre for Young Lives is inviting contributions to a new report on equitable access to play across the North of England.
We want to hear from anyone working in this space – including academics, teachers, local authorities, play workers, community organisations and others with relevant experience or insight.
Submissions can cover activity in any setting where play happens: communities, schools, homes, streets and neighbourhoods, public spaces or online. We are particularly interested in evidence, case studies, programmes and policies from the North of England that demonstrate what works in practice.
Deadline for submissions: 31 August 2026
Your contribution will help build the evidence base on what works—informing policy and improving access to play for children and young people.
