Dr Colin Tattam joined the N8 Research Partnership in June 2026.
Previously Executive Director within Innovate UK Business Connect, Colin brings extensive experience of research and innovation partnerships. As Executive Director – Net Zero & Sustainable Industries at Innovate UK Business Connect, Colin was responsible for programmes in Transport, Infrastructure, AgriFood, Health, Digital and Creative, and also led on innovation challenges requiring a cross-disciplinary approach from IUK Business Connect teams.
Colin has a background in materials and manufacturing, with extensive private sector experience in industrial research, manufacturing operations and business management roles; including within a high-growth, Queen’s Award-winning technology SME.
Colin holds a PhD in Materials Science and Technology.
