The N8 Energy Research Centre is focused on addressing specific issues related to energy and energy industries in the North of England.

Research is concentrated on three themes - Energy Efficiency, Embedded Generation and Distribution Network - underpinned by socio-political considerations.

There is a strong connectivity between these areas, underpinned by the need to translate technological advances into real life changes.
