This month we have been working on new ways to develop exciting research collaborations through the use of capital assets and equipment across the 8 universities. We received some great input to our project from national stakeholders including HEFCE, BIS and 3 Research Councils. The report from the workshop can be viewed on our website.
We have also formed a new network in Parasitology, to maximise the range of capabilities across the N8 universities, including biochemistry, genetics, anthropology and sociology.
Finally, we are delighted that two N8 supported companies, Reinnervate and QuantuMDx, have been shortlisted for the Cels Business for Life Awards 2011, while QuantumMDx has signed an exclusive license agreement supporting their innovation and growth in diagnostic and sequencing technologies.
We hope you find this ebulletin interesting and informative, and welcome your feedback.
With warm regards,
Sarah Jackson
